Chicago Blues would electrify audiences in the early 1950s and attract the attention of British Rock and Roll stars like Keith Richards, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page and more. Those blues pioneers would have a fertile field in Chicago’s southside to perform and make records, until the rest of the world came calling. This class is one and a half hours long and will touch on blues artists such as Howlin’ Wolf, Buddy Guy, and feature the music and career of the legendary Muddy Waters. Hear how Muddy Waters plugged in his guitar... and the rest would become history. Each session will be one and a half hours of presentation with discussion and Q&A opportunities for attendees. Class will be streamed and recorded for replay on-demand.
