When artists like Bo Diddley started expanding the blues on electric guitar, combined with infectious rhythms and easy to dance to songs, the response across America was immense. Some argue it’s where Rock and Roll begins and the blues end. This presentation will explore those musicians who broke all molds and forged new ground—featuring blues guitarist John Lee Hooker. Music by Greg Allman and George Thorogood will also be presented in this 1.5 hour class. Each session will be one and a half hours of presentation with discussion and Q&A opportunities for attendees. Class will be streamed and recorded for replay on-demand.
